About Hargobaa Society
Who We Are
Community Support
Rooted in Care, Culture, and Inclusion
Hargobaa Society is a community-based organization supporting seniors, youth, families, and newcomers through accessible services, referrals, and programs. We work with an ethnocultural and anti-racism lens to help individuals navigate everyday challenges with dignity and respect.
Our goal is to remove barriers, connect people to the right support, and strengthen our community through inclusive and practical services.
Hargobaa Society was created in response to real needs within our community. Many individuals face language barriers, system challenges, or lack access to information and support. We aim to bridge those gaps by offering culturally aware assistance, referrals, and programs that help people move forward with confidence.
As we continue to grow, our long-term goal is to become a registered charitable organization to expand our reach and better serve those who need support most.
How We Support Our Community
Inclusive & Respectful Support
We provide services in a way that respects culture, language, and lived experiences. Everyone is welcomed, heard, and treated with dignity.
Guidance, Not Judgment
We focus on listening first, then guiding individuals to the right services, resources, or referrals. Our role is to support, inform, and connect — not to overwhelm.
